Changing urban landscapes of Mumbai have seen some manicured gardens come up.
So this morning, I went to the Mindspace garden near my house..to do the thing I love most- Reading in a quiet place.
The monsoon clouds and slight drizzle, chirping birds and the Yoga Instructor who did not hold his class today but said hello, and the main Supervisor of the guards who scolded two of his juniors for sitting in one Place and chatting and not minding the ‘couples’ who tend to get a bit too romantic for public places added to the read.
Reading a book and reading a place, like reading persons and situations are all textures of reading.
Back to a thorny topic on which I am doing research and notings- Consumer empowerment in health care delivery systems.
Got hold of a book, all with charts and tables. A bit heavy, but interesting.
...returning to the park again, 'escaping' the relatives who have come to know of my 'secret' visit and have come to 'disturb' my reading...How are you? Fine..How long is your stopover at Istanbul? Two hours...
Sorry sir, I am going back to reading ..in the park Mindspace gardens-Mumbai
